By creating an account or using CreatorConnect's services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One person or entity may only maintain one account

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Platform Fees

• Creators: 10% platform fee on all completed collaborations
• Brands: 5% platform fee on all campaign expenses
• Fees are automatically deducted from payments
• All fees are non-refundable once a service is rendered
• We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days notice

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent platform fees
• Use automated systems to access the platform
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security

4.2 Content Standards

All content posted must be appropriate, legal, and not violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards.

5. Payments and Escrow

• All campaign payments are held in escrow until deliverables are approved
• Brands must fund campaigns before creators begin work
• Creators receive payment within 24-48 hours of approval
• Disputed funds are held until resolution
• Payment processing fees may apply

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Content

CreatorConnect owns all rights to the platform, including its design, features, and functionality. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without permission.

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting on our platform, you grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote your content as necessary to operate the service.

7. Disputes and Resolution

• We provide a dispute resolution system for campaign-related conflicts
• Both parties must attempt to resolve disputes through our platform first
• Our team will review evidence and make a fair determination
• Decisions are final and binding on both parties
• Repeated disputes may result in account suspension

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Abuse of the platform or other users
• Any reason deemed necessary to protect the platform or users

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Termination does not relieve you of obligations for pending transactions.

9. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The accuracy of user-provided information
• The quality of work performed by creators
• Specific results or outcomes from collaborations
• Security from unauthorized access

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREATORCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CreatorConnect operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
